Florence is a true Wild West town, one that has survived generations of “boom and bust” discoveries. What is left is a vibrant art, agriculture, and ranching community that is proud to come together once a year to celebrate their past.

Since 1927 the citizens of Florence, Colorado have gathered to celebrate the roots of our Great Little Town. This Celebration is named the Florence Pioneer Day and is always held on the 3rd Saturday of September each year. The Pioneer Day board is responsible for organizing a parade on that day and providing a luncheon for the “Pioneers” which is held in Pioneer Park following the parade.
